For international students: | Located in the heart of Europe, AAU is an authentically international university with a diverse student body. This is a result of using English as a medium of instruction, which draws students from across the globe. AAU has earned both American and European accreditation, meaning AAU graduates receive a university degree that is recognized worldwide as meeting the same rigorous academic standards that leading universities in the United States do. AAU is also one of few universities globally to have received accreditation from the WASC Senior College and University Commission (WSCUC), an American accrediting agency recognized by the U.S. Department of Education. Earning a WSCUC-accredited degree ensures that your diploma will be recognized in the USA. AAU’s programs are also accredited by the Ministry of Education, Youth and Sports of the Czech Republic, and the Czech Republic’s membership of the European Union ensures that degrees obtained from AAU are recognized throughout Europe. AAU’s Certificate of Higher Education in Common Law (CertHE Common Law), as well as the LLB and LLM programs are offered in cooperation with the University of London. AAU’s Chapman MBA program, which is offered in cooperation with Chapman University in California, is globally accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB), the gold standard of business school accreditation. Our MA in Business and Law in International Markets students can earn an MBA in Sustainability Management or MBA in Finance & Responsible Investment awarded by the Sustainability Management School (SUMAS), a renowned Swiss university. AAU offers also The Global Degree Program, which is a partnership between Anglo-American University in Prague, Czech Republic, and Kent State University in Kent, Ohio, in the United States. This program focuses mostly on computer sciences. |
International cooperation: | • Erasmus Exchange - The EU’s Erasmus program has allowed our students to experience the diversity of life and education across the EU. • International University Exchange - Outside the EU, AAU's efforts have historically been focused on the USA and other English-speaking countries but are rapidly expanding to other areas such as Asia • Study Abroad Students - International students from non-partner institutions can apply to AAU as "study abroad students" without being part of a specific exchange program. The partnerships allow students and staff to travel abroad for a semester and experience the varying education systems and styles across the EU. Outside the EU, AAU’s efforts have historically focused on the USA and other English-speaking countries, along with exchange partnerships in Asia, an increasingly important economic area where graduates are seeking employment. AAU has 16 established partner universities for students to choose from in locations including but not limited to the USA, Korea, Australia, Malaysia, Canada and Israel.
